     Hey guys!
I know-I know I havn't posted in... well forever! Sorry, but it's not like many people read this anyway. It's the sad truth..:(
Aha, so anyways; life update? I'm doing Cross Country and well, it's hard. Really hard. The first day we ran 3 miles, don't forget 40 crunches& 40 Sit-ups as well. But hopefully I'll be improving over the summer! So baking- I recently had a watermelon cake-pop disaster. They were a LOT harder to make than they seemed! But on the brighter side I have a really good banana bread recipie I'd like to share with you guys, you can use it with your banana's that are mushy and have brown spots! It's the perfect way to save them from going into the trash. It's a super easy recipe, no fancy ingredients, it's pretty hard to mess up on this one!
Banana Bread

Ingredients!

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 a cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs (beat them)
  • 2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas

Directions!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F . Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. In a different bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar. Mix in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir the banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just just until the ingredients are well combined. Pouryour batter into the greased pan.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, basically until a toothpick comes out nice n' clean. Let bread cool in pan for about 10 minutes. Bon Appetit!
